ALAMOGORDO, N.M. – “Legacy of Liberty Airshow” The Alamogordo RC Club provided spectators a unique opportunity to see different kinds of remote control aircraft and military aircraft at the Holloman Air Show. Nestled in Southern New Mexico Alamogordo is home the largest Pistachio and one of nicest open remote control flying field. I was able to visit the field which provided covering with starting stands, a heli pad, asphalt runway and endless skies to fly. If you are close I would recommend stopping by and spending time with a great group of guys at a wonderful field.
Holloman AFB did not disappoint with Thunderbirds – U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, F-35 Lightning II Demo Team, U.S. Air Force Academy Wings of Blue Black Daggers – USASOC Black Daggers Parachute Demo Team, and 7th ASOS JTACs – Joint Terminal Aircraft Controller.
