Alamogordo RCers are actively involved with the community.  We participate in charitable endeavors.  This season is our second year to donate to Toys for Tots.  We also support the STEM activities of the Space History Museum, providing simulator experiences and distributing AMA gliders to kids of all ages.  We are active members of the Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce and attend monthly meetings discussing our events with business leaders and local government officials.  Our involvement and exposure has resulted in positive publicity and recognition, including a regular spot on a radio talk show program.
