Enchantment Model Balloons. 13 pilots flying RC balloon at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta Park. They will also be flying at the fiesta in October along the full size balloons. They will be trying to set a world record of 55 RC balloons at the same event. Dale Cowder is the president and secretary of the club. He organized today’s event . The balloons were tethered today with free flight in the future. Free flight will be line of site only. The balloon are just like the real balloons. The process is the same, put air in balloon and heat it up, away they go.
This club wants to be an AMA club. There is 5 members at this time. I hope they get it done. In a lot of ways, they are just like every RC clubs I’ve been to. Lots of hanger talk and laughing. Lots of fun for the whole family.
